Made of old burnt scriptures mixed with herbs and holy powder
Luang Pu Yim, a famous master of the
olden days who travelled regularly to
meet famous masters, learning or exchange knowledge with them. Phra Phong Dam were created around B.E. 2460s (A.D. 1910s).
The powder were very similar to amulet of Phra Phong Yaa created by Luang Pu Boon of Wat Klang Bang Kaew as both masters had ever met several times to exchange knowledge.
The base of each piece of Phra Lamphun Dam were inserted with piece of copper plate (Takrut) inscripted by Luang Pu Yim and this "Wicha" (skill) was taught by non other than
his teacher, The Great, Luang Pu Suk of Wat Makhamtao.
In General, there were three Phim (prints) for Phra Phong Dam :
1. Phra Lamphun Phim Samathi (meditation posture)
2. Phra Lamphun Phim Manwitchai (touching earth posture)
3. Phra Pidta (close eyes)
This century old amulet were said to contain very strong power of protection, charm and luck.
